About Us

Beacon Credit Union was chartered in 1947 to serve the employees of the Naval Ordnance Station in Louisville, Kentucky. It has been a desire of the Board of Directors and staff to serve our entire community with top quality financial products. In July of 2004, we obtained our community charter and are now able to serve the following counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

KIPDA Area - Bullitt County, Henry County, Jefferson County, Oldham County, Shelby County, Spencer County, Trimble County in Kentucky, and Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana.

Lincoln Trail Area - Breckinridge County, Meade County, Grayson County, Hardin County, Larue County, Nelson County, Washington County, and Marion County in Kentucky.

Bluegrass Area - Anderson County, Franklin County, Woodford County, Mercer County, Boyle County, Lincoln County, Garrard County, Jessamine County, Fayette County, Scott County, Harrison County, Bourbon County, Nicholas County, Clark County, Madison County, Powell County, and Estill County in Kentucky.

Northern Kentucky - Boone County, Kenton County, Campbell County, Carroll County, Gallatin County, Owen County, Grant County, and Pendleton County in Kentucky.
