It's never too early or too late to start saving for retirement. We offer Traditional, Roth and Coverdale Education IRAs, as well as IRA Share Certificates. Check with our member service department for details.
Share Certificates
We offer a wide variety of share certificates of deposit to meet your investment needs. The minimum deposit to open and maintain a regular share certificate is $500.00. Regular certificate terms are 6, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48 and 60 months. We also offer a Stow Away Certificate. The Stow Away Certificate lets you make deposits to it throughout the year. The minimum balance to open a Stow Away certificate is just $200.00. All Stow Away certificates are a one year term. Additional deposits to a Stow Away CD must be at least $25 or higher.
Special CD rate and terms are offered periodically. Special CD rate and terms are not subject to auto renewal. Special CD rate and terms will automatically mature and be deposited to your share account.
Early closure of a certificate prior to the maturity date will result in an early termination penalty. Certificates up to one year term will incur a 90 day interest penalty. Certificates with more than one year term will incur a 180 day interest penalty.
